WELCOME TO THE GREENWOOD RISING VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE

This program is intended to immerse the visitor in a digital environment built around the history of Tulsa’s historic Greenwood District. Once entering the space, participants will be able to walk/run, look around, and interact with their environment. Two choices will be presented within the landing room: one will be to visit the Greenwood Rising 360 virtual tour, and the other will be to see the Black Wall Street Gallery.

The Greenwood Rising 360 Virtual Tour is an excellent offering for anyone outside the state who wants to get a preview of the History Center. Participants can move through at their leisure, hear and/or read a docent-led tour, and review the contents of our actual exhibit spaces.

The Black Wall Street Gallery is an excellent space for educators to bring their students and for lifelong learners to take a step into the rich history of the Greenwood District. Visitors will be dropped into a modern gallery space with a curated selection of items to guide them through their educational journey.
