FREEDOM FRIDAYS

Greenwood Rising will offer free admission to the History Center every Friday for Oklahoma residents from January 31 through March 7. “Freedom Fridays” is a partnership between Greenwood Rising and TTCU Federal Credit Union. The free admission is courtesy of TTCU Federal Credit Union, a founding sponsor of Greenwood Rising.

“Greenwood Rising serves as a powerful symbol of resilience and remembrance, honoring the legacy of Black Wall Street while inspiring a future of hope, equity and empowerment. It is more than a museum; it is a testament to the strength of a community and a call to build a better tomorrow. TTCU is proud to once again sponsor this critically important institution so that more people can experience its profoundly meaningful lessons.”

— Shelby Beil, TTCU President & CEO

“We have visitors who come to the museum from all over the world,” says Greenwood Rising Executive Director Dr. Raymond Doswell. “We want to inspire and invite regional neighbors to experience Greenwood Rising, too, and see what others have traveled hundreds or thousands of miles to see. It’s simple; if you live in Oklahoma, you can see the museum for free on Fridays.”
